Stay ahead of investor expectations
We surveyed 1,000 investors to find out what they wanted from the wealth management experience. Discover data-driven strategies you need to build trust, modernize communication, and deliver exceptional client experiences in the 2025 Investor Engagement Survey.
Trust is paramount
Trust remains the cornerstone of investor-advisor relationships. A significant 72% of investors say trust is the most important factor when choosing an advisor. Notably, broken trust is the leading reason investors seek new advisors, even more than poor investment performance.
Communication preferences are evolving
While PDFs and printed documents remain the norm for presenting financial advice, younger investors express a growing preference for interactive digital dashboards that provide real-time insights and education.
Personalization is non-negotiable
Personalized advice is no longer optional—90% of investors prefer tailored investment proposals over standardized options. Millennials and Gen X investors are particularly focused on working with advisors who empower them with financial knowledge and tools, to help take a more active role in their financial planning.
The online survey was conducted by independent research firm, Logica Research, from August 26, 2024, to September 3, 2024, among a national sample of 1,000 investors in the U.S. who were 18 and older. All survey respondents worked with a financial advisor and had at least $50,000 in household savings and investable assets, excluding any real estate or retirement funds held by employers.
