Toronto, May, 4, 2023 – CapIntel, a leading wealth management technology company, announced the appointment of Lowell Putnam as a new Advisory Board Member. With 10+ years of experience in US FinTech, Putnam will further assist CapIntel’s expansion into the US.
Working with the executive team, Putnam will focus on enabling CapIntel to deliver its platform to US asset managers and wealth firms allowing them to adapt quickly to the modern investor demands.
With over a decade of financial technology experience, Lowell is a proven leader in building high-growth organizations like Qouvo, a financial technology company focused on consumer financial account aggregation, where he served as CEO until its sale to Plaid in January 2019. At Plaid, Lowell joined the executive leadership team and built the partnerships function. With this experience, he will help to maximize CapIntel’s platform to achieve their business objectives.
From our first meeting, I was impressed by CapIntel’s product vision and impressive success penetrating the Canadian market. Enterprise adoption is among the hardest motions for any startup to adopt, and CapIntel has shown remarkable skill in this area. I'm excited to help them continue in this success!

Putnams’ appointment adds to the strength of CapIntel’s advisory council, following recent addition of Rob Foregger.
Lowell has a deep understanding of the needs and opportunities faced by the US wealth industry. Under his advisory, we will double down on the underserved areas of the industry and create opportunities in the U.S. market.
